St Anthony Catholic Church on Mitchell Street was founded in 1872 as a mission church serving the spiritual needs of recently arrived German immigrants.
Since then, the vigil lamp in our beautiful church has reminded thousands of Christ's Real Presence in the heart of the Near Southside.
