St. Mary's Roman Catholic Parish serves the community and surrounding areas of Hamburg, Pennsylvania, a rural town situated on the banks of the Schuylkill River in the beautiful Blue Mountain chain.  The beginning of the new millennium brought with it the dedication of our new church, a modern, handicap-accessible building situated on a hilltop just west of town. The original church, dedicated by St. John Neumann in 1854 proved to be no longer adequate for our growing faith community. These two events wrap almost 150 years of history for St. Mary's Church in Hamburg.  If you are vacationing or just visiting the area, please feel welcome at St. Mary's. We hope you find your electronic visit informative. May the Lord bless you and keep you.
