St. Mary Parish

Established in 1848, St. Mary's Parish has been preaching the Gospel and celebrating the Sacraments in the heart of Glens Falls for over a century and a half.
Thousands have happily called St. Mary's their home. Part of the universal Catholic Church and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany, our parish celebrates the centuries-old mission, teaching and liturgy of the Catholic faith.
We seek to exemplify love for one another, to spread the Good News, to reconcile others to God in Christ and to support one another on our earthly pilgrimage.
We encourage a sense of belonging and we strive to create a place that is safe, beautiful and secure.
We offer opportunities to accommodate the needs and desire of our youth and young families as well as our adults and seniors.
Not content with being just an inn by the side of the road , we are thought-provoking, challenging and active in service, in the wider community, and in ecumenical and interfaith collaboration.
We seek to make the Gospel relevant in our own lives and in this current culture, honoring the past but building a strong faith for the now - so that the two-thousand year-old faith of Jesus Christ enlivens, enriches, guides and challenges us every day of our lives.
