Our parish community has been a beacon of light and hope for all the peoples of Bogota and Teaneck and the surrounding areas since 1913. Through the ministry of all the Carmelites who founded and served the parish for 100 years before turning the parish over to the priests of the Archdiocese of Newark, through the ministry of all the sisters and dedicated lay teachers who have served in St. Joseph's Academy, through the ministry of the many lay persons who have served on the parish staff, those who have served on pastoral and finance councils, and all of the literally countless numbers of parishioners who have contributed so generously of their time, treasure, and talent, our parish community has striven to be the "arms and hands" of Christ to any and all who have worshipped with us or who in any way have sought our assistance.
