Parish was officially incorporated in 1793, but the history of organized worship by Catholics in the Bryantown area reaches back even further.
Our Lady Help of Christians is one of two Catholic Churches in Waldorf, MD. The Church is at 100 Village Street and is located near the Smallwood Village Shopping Center, the Waldorf Library, and Benjamin Stoddert Middle School.
