United in tradition and based on the Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ, we are the Roman Catholic Community of Saint Clare Church in Essex. As a parish family, we accept the call of Jesus to serve Him and one another by:

- Striving to spread the Gospel message through full and active

participation in worship, and through the faith formation of children

to adults;

- Encouraging each other in love to become the person the Lord has

called each of us to be, particularly through ongoing evangelization

and service;

- Providing opportunities which foster communication, cooperation

and fellowship for all;

- Reaching out to those who are in need by supporting their physical,

emotional and spiritual wellbeing; and

- Ensuring the future of our parish through our stewardship efforts,

including prudently handling nances, efciently managing staff and

volunteer resources, and maintaining safe, accessible and attractive

facilities.
