Saint John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Parish is a warm and welcoming faith community in the town of Bourne on Cape Cod.
Established as a Parish by Bishop James L. Connolly in June of 1969, our worship space is located in the village of Pocasset, and our parishioners include people from the villages of Bourne, Gray Gables, Monument Beach, Pocasset, and Cataumet. Our gatherings are centered around the Holy Eucharist and devotions to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Being a community of year-round and seasonal folk, we seek to meet the spiritual needs of all parishioners including the sick, dying, and bereaving, and we invite others to join us in these ministries.
Our church doors are open to all every day. All are welcome.
Our Mission: We are a Roman Catholic family of faith that seeks to help one another to love The Lord with all our hearts and our neighbors as ourselves. Our life centers on the Eucharist and the sacramental life of the Church. From these encounters we seek to be Christs eyes, hands, voice and heart in the world. We warmly welcome visitors, seekers and anyone who is curious about faith, Church and God; we rejoice with the Lord when returning brothers and sisters join us at the Table.
