Originally founded in 1874 as St. Patrick's, St. Francis Xavier Parish in 1903 embraced all immigrant people by following the missionary zeal of our patron. In response to this call, we now embrace English, Brazilian, and Spanish speaking Roman Catholics and due to the respect of our heritage, include a Tridentine Mass. In our love and zeal as disciples of the Lord, we strive to remain true to our Holy Roman Catholic Faith. We witness to this Faith: by our celebration of the Sacraments, by our continual formation in the teachings of the Church, and by striving always to serve the needs of the community in Hyannis, especially the poor.
In 2017, Our Lady of Victory marks its 60th anniversary as a parish. Like so many of our ancestors, our Lady of Victory had a humble start. The first Masses of our newly formed parish were celebrated in 1957 in the just completed church basement. It would be a number of months before the upper chur
