The Marist Fathers and Brothers, who served Our Lady of Victories since 1883, have withdrawn from ministry in the parish and the Archdiocese of Boston accepted their request for the closure of the parish. With a heavy heart, we announce that the church is now closed and the parish has been suppressed as of the 3rd of January. For a short time, there will be one exception made: On the Sundays from January10 through February 14, there will be one Mass celebrated in church at 11:00 a.m. by a priest of the Archdiocese of Boston. This will provide an opportunity to former parishioners to meet some priestswho serve in parishes in our area and to allow them a time of transition as they choose anotherchurch community for worship. - If you are seeking pastoral care, preparation for sacraments, a schedule of Mass times, etc., please call the Cathedral of the Holy Cross, 1400 Washington St. The Parish Administrator there is Fr. Kevin O'Leary and the phone number is 617-542-5682. For further information about the closure of Our Lady'sParish, for a sacramental record, or for anything else related to the former parish, please call 617-426-4448 between the hours of 8:00 am and 3:00 pm Monday through Friday. In addition, you may come to theMarist Residence at 27 Isabella St. at any time during those same office hours. Email messages can also be sent to olvboston.com for the time being.
