Sacred Heart Parish was founded by the Glenmary Home Missioners in 1955. Our church building was completed in 1960. We are a multicultural community worshiping in Burke County, Georgia, located approximately 25 miles south of Augusta. Our Pastor is Father Patrick Otor, MSP.
Our church family is made up of all ages from all walks of life: teachers & students, business owners & their employees, medical professionals & office workers, farmers & factory workers. The young and not-as-young gather to share our lives and to deepen their faith as we spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our world.
Our mission is to witness our faith through worship and education and to nurture our faith family through parish life and Christian service.
